چکیده
We report the annealing effects on the magnetic properties of Cu-17vol.% Nb micro-composites. Samples prepared by bundling and drawing process with different deformation degree and subsequent vacuum heat treatment. The Cu-Nb interface structural change due to mostly the recrystallization and coarsening of the Nb filaments. The magnetic properties caused by the proximity effect and the Cu-Nb interface structure of the multifilamentary Cu-Nb micro-composites is discussed. WTP-25

Sensing of Methanol and Ethanol with Nano-Structured SnO2 (110) in Gas Phase: Monte Carlo Simulation
The SnO2 films deposited from inorganic precursors via sol–gel dip coating method have been found to be highly sensitive to methanol and ethanol vapor. Three dimensional nano-structure materials have attracted the attention of many researches because the possibility to apply them for near future devices in sensors, catalysis and energy related. The sensitivity and selectivity of SnO2 (110) nano...
متن کاملPreparation of epitaxial PbTiO 3 thin films by metalorganic vapor phase epitaxy under reduced pressure
In this study PbTiO 3 thin films were deposited using metalorganic vapor phase epitaxy (MOVPE). Titanium-isopropoxide and tetraethyl-lead were used as the Ti and Pb precursors, and 0 2 was the oxidizing gas. A wide range of conditions for preparing high quality PbTiO 3 thin film were investigated. The epitaxial PbTiO 3 thin films were grown on (001) SrTiO 3 substrates at a growth temperature of...
متن کاملThickness Dependence of Sensitivity in Thin Film Tin Oxide Gas Sensors Deposited by Vapor Pyrolysis
Transparent SnO2 thin films were deposited on porcelain substrates using a chemical vapor deposition technique based on the hydrolysis of SnCl4 at elevated temperatures. A reduced pressure self-contained evaporation chamber was designed for the process where the pyrolysis of SnCl4 at the presence of water vapor was carried out. Resistive gas sensors were fabricated by providing ohmic contacts o...
متن کاملQuantum Dot Self-assembly in Growth of Strained-Layer Thin Films: a Kinetic Monte-Carlo Study
We use Monte-Carlo simulations to study island formation in the growth of thin semiconducting films deposited on lattice-mismatched substrates. It is known that islands nucleate with critical nuclei of about one atom and grow two dimensionally until they reach a critical size sc, when it is favorable for the islands to become three dimensional. We investigate the mechanism for this transition f...
متن کاملFrom Initial to Late Stages of Epitaxial Thin Film Growth: STM Analysis and Atomistic or CoarseGrained Modeling
Epitaxial thin film growth by vapor deposition or molecular beam epitaxy under ultra‐high vacuum conditions generally occurs in two stages: (i) nucleation and growth of well‐separated islands on the substrate; (ii) subsequent formation of a thicker continuous film with possible kinetic roughening. For homoepitaxial growth, two‐dimensional (2D) monolayer islands are formed during submonolayer de...
